<p>With a passion for design and all things practical, the values in our boutique, began early in founder, Bertte Nader’s childhood. Growing up in a large family and influenced by her parents, Ferdose (tata) and Roland (baba), practicing a ‘use only what you need’ old-world sensibility regarding personal consumption and social awareness, long before it became fashionable to go green.</p>
<p>Bertte works in the New York City Real Estate Market and was in search for the perfect gift for a new green space when she founded, greensceneshop.com. Bertte is currently a member of the New York City chapter of the <span class="caps">USGBC</span> (United States Green Building Council). She is interested in the <span class="caps">LEED</span> (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) for New Construction.</p>
