With deep grooves and soaring vertical lines, these handsome chestnut wood vases echo the natural beauty and presence of a tree in a forest. Handmade by Walter Jacobus, these 100% reclaimed downed tree vases have been weathered and shaped by wind, rain and the elements, giving them each a warm and organic look. These can be used as an impressive centerpiece or placed on the floor for a new way to display flowers. Handmade in Grassy Creek, North Carolina. Available in small or large; intended to be used as a bud vase.
The chestnut tree was once dominant on the East coast before widespread blight killed a large majority of them in the early part of the century.
